On Wednesday, we were visited by nine Old Anselmians who had all been at S. Anselm's in the late 1940s. Four of our visitors can be seen in the First XI cricket team photo of 1949, that hangs in the corridor outside the staff room. The gentlemen were greeted by Sammy U and Humphrey M who took them up to Top Field to watch some cricket. They then had a short tour of the school, followed by tea in the Library.

It was wonderful to hear their stories of what the school was like when they were here! One or two also gave some advice to our Year 8 pupils who are moving onto the same senior schools as them - Oundle and Shrewsbury.

It was a wonderful afternoon and we look forward to another visit next year.
